New Convention Center Plans for Laurel, MD

The EduSerc Convention Center

EduSerc is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a project to help grow its vision to serve the community and grow other small businesses and nonprofits in the process.

The E-Convention Center

Known as the EduSerc Convention Center (ECC), this facility will host up to 552+ individuals, be centrally located in the Washington DC/Baltimore/Northern Virginia corridor in the heart of Laurel, MD and will serve as this area’s newest innovative center for activities, galas, trainings, product simulations, video productions and events designed to benefit educational and workforce development initiatives.

Proceeds generated by this venue will directly benefit community-based initiatives in education for youth, provide pipeline workforce training opportunities and strengthen the economic development of the surrounding communities.

There will be no more looking for affordable meeting space, or a virtual home or physical home for your business or nonprofit activities. By claiming your space in this project and joining as a member, organizations will be able to acquire a resource center with training, equipment and facilities all at their disposal.

Projected options will include:

  • Executive Style and Virtual Offices (w/ private mailboxes)

  • Retail Spaces for Convention Store Fronts & Pop Up Shops (e.g. Copy/Print, Convenience Store, Technology Genius Bar, 3D Printing Facility)

  • Full Kitchen & Cafe

  • Private Telecommuting Spaces for Members

  • STEM-Based Lab & Maker Space

  • 14 Convention Rooms with total capacity of 520 seats

In 1996, EduSerc had a vision to build a place where education could be re-defined as a self-sustainable, innovative industry that re-defines how to approach industry development. As the organization enters 2017, EduSerc will be closer to that dream more than ever with the installation of its very own campus for our fellow nonprofit and business partners to serve the community.
