EduSerc IPLD - NSA/Culinary Industry Trip (Nov. 21, 2018 - 8:00am - 5:30pm) (1)

Hosted on a day out of school in Prince George's County, our next industry field trip will focus on exploring Cryptology and Culinary Arts with interactive culinary demonstrations. Destinations include NSA-National Cryptology Museum and Stratford University in Baltimore.

NOTE: If IPLD Montgomery Students want to attend this trip, you are more than welcome. However, you must RSVP/Confirm.

Industry Trip Focus (Nov 21, 2018):

• Technology / Cryptology
• American History / Intelligence / Communications
• Culinary Arts / Hospitality

NSA-Museum: Students will participate in interactive activities in discovering and practicing cryptology methods, a scavenger-hunt, and guided tour of the museum.

Stratford: Students will learn about career opportunities in Culinary Arts and Hospitality and how chefs create various masterpieces.. Students will have the opportunity to witness a demostronation and experience the school's restaurant after a tour of Stratford's school.

Purchasing Items at the Museum and Stratford University

Students can bring money with them if you want to buy anything from the gift shop or purchase food items in Stratford's Restaurant on campus. We would encourage to provide them with $15 at least to purchase items, if you want them to do so.

ITINENARY

MORNING BUS DEPARTURE (8:00am)

Location: Prince George's Community College (Parking Lot F - back of the college)

Departure Time: 8:00am

AFTERNOON ARRIVAL (5:30pm)

Afternoon Bus Arrival Location: Prince George's Community College (Parking Lot F - back of the college)

Afternoon Bus Arrival Time: 5:30pm (ETA) (parents will receive a text alert when in route to location).

2) Dress Code: EduSerc IPLD Shirts (priority). If you do not have a shirt yet, then business casual dress (no jeans or tennis shoes). Please make sure to dress to impress. We will be taking professional pictures and video during our leadership enrichment experiences.
