Our last industry field trip before the conference in April will focus on exploring Medical Careers and Government Leadership Inspirations for IPLD Projects. We will have another special IPLD leadership exercise at the Capitol as well!

1) Industry Trip Focus (Feb 18, 2019):

• Medicine / Healthcare / Health
• Law / Government Leadership Inspiration and Leadership Characteristics

MedStar: Students will have an opportunity to interact with Physicians, Medical Staff and other personnel to learn about the various opportunities for a great career in the Healthcare field.

The Capitol: Students will take a tour of the Capitol Building and interact with tour staff to engage in understanding how our Government impacts our leadership style as a country and as individuals.

ITINENARY

7:00am IPLD Montgomery: Pickup/Departure from Montgomery Mall (Nordstrom Parking Lot)

8:00am IPLD Prince George's: Pickup/Departure from PGCC Lot F - back of the college)

9:00am Arrive at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

1:30pm - 2:30pm Depart MedStar and Travel to the Capitol Building

3:00pm - 4:30pm IPLD Leadership Exercise at The Capitol Building

4:30pm Departure The Capitol Building

5:30pm Arrive at PGCC: IPLD Prince George's Dropoff/Arrival to PGCC Lot F - back of college

6:30pm Arrival at Montgomery Mall (Nordstrom Parking Lot): IPLD Montgomery

NOTE: Parents will receive a text alert when in route to location).

2) Dress Code: EduSerc IPLD Shirts (priority).

3) IMPORTANT: Please bring a notepad and pen/pencil on this trip! In addition, please bring your IPLD Project ideas and plans to showcase to the Microsoft Team Members. They will be assigned to help you formulate your ideas and organize them!!
