EduSerc IPLD Industry Day - Microsoft / Tesla (Technology Design / Automotive / Bus. Mgmt.)

This is our first opening industry day experience for the 2019-2020 year with our IPLD Montgomery Students.  We will explore the world of coding and learn how coding is used in the Business Management for Tesla.  Student leaders will learn how to develop ideas for their innovative industry projects.

NOTE:  All IPLD Montgomery students are expected to attend this session for our first industry experience of the school year to start developing project ideas early!

1) Industry Trip Focus (Sep 30, 2019):

• Technology / Coding 
• Automotive / Business Management / Innovative Technology Solutions

Microsoft (Training):  Students will have an opportunity to learn how to code software and interactive graphics to integrate with other types of robotics and mechanical devices.  Students will also develop their own game as well with simple and complex objects.

Tesla:  Students will take an experience with Tesla to learn how their technology is better and more efficient than most cars on the road.  In addition, students will learn about Tesla's take on the automotive industry, career opportunities and explore new models of their cars for ideas on their innovative IPLD projects.

ITINERARY

8:00am                  Montgomery Mall:  Meet at the Food Court Entrance on Macy's Side of Parking Lot.   

8:00am - 9:00am    IPLD Industry Project Training / Busines Management Orientation (Food Court Area)

9:00am - 12:00pm  Technology Training (Microsoft)

12:00pm - 1:00pm  Lunch

1:00pm - 3:00pm    Technology Idea Development (Tesla)

3:00pm - 5:30pm    Busines Management Development Session (Food Court)

5:30pm                   Student Pickup:  Food Court Entrance on Macy's Side of Parking Lot

NOTE: Parents will receive a text alert when we are about to complete our experience 

2) Dress Code:  EduSerc IPLD Shirts (priority).  For those students that have not been given their shirts, please dress busines casual on this day.  No tennis shoes or jeans.  

3)  IMPORTANT:  Please bring a notepad and pen/pencil on this experience!
