IPLD Buffalo Trip - Prior Aviation Services | Lockheed Martin

Our next experience for the year will be exploring the world of enginering, aviation and airplanes with Prior Aviation Services and Lockheed Martin.  This will be a fun and exciting experience in engineering and science career development.

NOTE:  All IPLD Buffalo students are expected to attend this session and wear their IPLD Shirts!

Industry Trip Focus (Jan 20, 2020):

• Aviation / Airplane Management
• Engineering / Aerospace

Prior Aviation Services:  Students will have an opportunity to explore careers and opportunities with pilots and other aviation associates in the aviation industry.  Students will take a brief tour of the facilities and learn how pilots perform their duties on tha daily basis.

Lockheed Martin:  Students will then have an opportunity to visit Lockheed Martin and shadow engineers on their visit, while learning how to develop a career path in engineering.  Students will go on a tour, explore facilties and have an opportunity to discuss their projects with engineers onsite!

ITINERARY

8:30am                  Student Drop-off:  Meet at Davis Hall (in front of Room 101) at the University at Buffalo

8:30am - 9:00am    Leave / Travel to Prior Aviation

9:00am - 12:00pm  Prior Aviation Experience

12:00pm - 12:30pm  Travel to Lockheed Martin

12:30pm - 1:00pm  Lunch

1:00pm - 4:00pm    Lockheed Martin Experience

4:00pm - 5:00pm    Travel back to the University at Buffalo

5:00pm                   Student Pickup:  Meet at Davis Hall (in front of Room 101) at the University at Buffalo

NOTE: Parents will receive a text alert when we are about to complete our experience 

2) Dress Code:  IPLD Shirts / Dress (similar) shoes (priority).  

3)  IMPORTANT:  Please bring a notepad and pen/pencil on this experience!
