Today, EduSerc announced two new creative
programs to solve problems related to all of the natural and environmental disasters
occurring in the world and the continual dire need for more engineers in our
country:The Disaster / Recovery
Engineering Project and the Super Hero STEM Summer Training Program.
EduSerc’s Disaster / Recovery Engineering Project is
scheduled to kick-off at the end of June 2010- August 2010 with over
54 high school students being trained on college campuses at the University of
Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC),
the University of Buffalo (U of B) in New York, and The University of Central
Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida.For
over 14 years, EduSerc has been working in the community to train students about
various career industries.This year,
EduSerc takes it a bit further to place their hat in the ring for solutions to
our world’s most interesting problems, becoming their most dynamic STEM training
initiative yet.
Featuring engineers that hold and/or currently pursuing
their Masters and/or Ph.D’s in Engineering as well as an engineer originally from Haiti,
EduSerc believes it will have an answer to reacting to tragedies and
implementing preventative solutions.EduSerc’s
focus will be the following areas of engineering:Environmental, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical,
Computer and Aerospace.

For over 6 years, EduSerc has been implementing complex
engineering initiatives to train middle and high school students for a future
career in engineering.
