EduSerc is looking for a volunteer to serve as a Media Production Assistant within the Media / Public Relations Sector of the organization. Volunteers for this position must possess excellent communication and speaking skills and be enthusiastic to learn new technologies.
The volunteer selected for this position will be responsible for assisting the development of the organization’s corporate image to the external community and internal members. The volunteer will assist the Business Development Sector by producing and developing media products to help grow the organization (such as CDs, DVDs, video downloads, and other supporting documentation that involves promoting the image of the organization. The candidate will be required to the following (but not limited to):
- doing voiceovers for EduSerc’s IVR system, PowerPoint and other media-based presentations
- editing videos produced by the organization
- editing internal organizational documents for media promotion over email or print
Volunteer Requirements As a volunteer, you will be working on a team of other professionals on a committee to help further the objectives of the organization. All volunteers when representing the organization in person must dress casual or business casual (no jeans) and must reflect the values associated with the organization being quality, professionalism and integrity.
All volunteers must review EduSerc's volunteer policies and procedures training video before serving as an official volunteer with EduSerc.
Background Check Depending upon requirements (or the assignment), volunteers may be subject to a standard criminal background check due to requirements of local school systems or other entities for liability purposes.
Location All work for this position must be performed at EduSerc Offices on corporate equipment.

Technical Skills: - Preferred knowledge with the Macintosh (Apple) suite of products (ie. FinalCut Pro Suite, iMovie, Motion)
- General knowledge of working with video and photo editing
Volunteers for this position can be trained if they have a working knowledge of Macintosh products and using an Apple computer.
